Sometimes, as users, we find ourselves needing to get just the plain text from other documents; this is precisely the use of this excellent office tool called Atrise ToTXT.
With Atrise ToTXT you can get, in TXT format, the text contained in MS Office files (DOC, XLS, PPT, etc), HTM or even PDF. To speed up the process and be more efficient, you can do batch processing of the conversions; you can even convert whole folders of documents.
To do any conversion you don`t need MS Office installed in your PC. Atrise ToTXT can also be run from the Windows command line.
